8pm BBC 2 Tuesday 23rd January - Don't Die Young programme about the lungs in which I put Dr Alice Roberts to the test with a bit of dynamic...
took 4 hours to film but will only take up 1 1/2 minutes of your time tomorrow night apparently. Apologies if I talked complete rubbish. It was filmed just after an all night journey back from Egypt and Alice had just cracked one of my favourite fins so I wasn't in the straightest of minds.. plus the pool was freezing after that long... enjoy! S

and she couldn't do a full length so we had to do widths....
oh yeah and they asked me to swim as close to the surface as possible because it "looked pretty when my body broke the surface" so I would have got a few penalties had it been a comp!!

The segment was at the beginniing of the show so I have just watched it.
Sam the TV star! What was the pool's width? About 20 metres?
