hello, my name is nick and I will be going to Ecuador from the 1st of august to the 14 and i will be staying in portoviejo and the a place on the beach about half an hour from there or so. I was wondering if anybody has been in that area or knows any good spots to go.... I will be willing to show anybody a good time and offer my friends place on the beach to chill. thanks

If you have the chance organise a trip to Galapagos islands from Quito, there can be some bargains, the marinelife is superb and unique....
Sorry dont know the coast so well, was there years ago.

Hi Nick, my name is Giovanni, i live in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, in the northern part of the country, is like a 6 hours car drive from Portoviejo, i don't know if can help you cause i never dive close to that city, i usually dive (when i got the time to do it) near my place, if i can help you in any way let me know.
