Looking for info about hunting in Brasil

I've been spearfishing a lot here in San Diego and having a blast, but this December I will be moving to Brasil with my Brasillian wife. I just need to find some info about the area we will be living. We are building a house in the Bombinhas area. It's an awsome place! Beautiful blue/green water, full of fish, and nice warm 80F water.(ahhhh) But I don't even know if spearfishing is legal down there. If anyone knows the details I would appreciate it.

Also, if anyone knows about any dive clubs or any thing like that in Santa Caterina, i would like to here from you.
