Rabitech gear bag review

with Ramadan life seems to slow down. meetings are pushed back, exams postponed, and most projects but on the backburner. the same, sadly applies for spearfishing because if you swallow water it basically cancels your day of fasting. given that ali doesnt like night-dives, we dont do much spearfishing.

so to keep busy ive shopped for gear.

and here it is. the Rabitech gear bag.

it measures 110cm x 35cm x 35cm
which translates into a whole lot of gear that you can take with you.
as you can see below, it EASILY carries a pair of longblade fins (in this case Omer BAT 25's), an 11L float deflated (i didnt feel like blowing and puffing), 3 x 8 liter rigid foam float (only one pictured), plus a weightbelt and weightvest, plus a mask, snorkle, booties, gloves, 30ft of floatline with 2meter bungie, yadda yadda yadda. in a nutshell, it holds all you gear comfortably.

it is made of some pvc material that is meant to withstand the elements and it both salt and water-proof.
also along the zipper, it has a mesh, which allows your gear to breath and not stink up the place.
two side pockets are waterproof and come in handy to put your wallet, keys, phone, condoms, u name it, it will hold it.

my honest rating is 6 out of 5. best thing about it is its price. at $100 it is very usefull.

same thing goes for the large gun bag. its padded and it easily holds both my 130 and my 110, with room to spare for 2 extra shafts and my 100.

both bags come with heavy dutty zippers.

You don't really swallow, do you?
spit it out or cough
Nice looking bag, though.
I myself use a tub like this and just put it in the trunk:
Of course there are "bullet holes" in the roof of my car because of the guns...

Re: Rabitech gear bag review

i used to use a tub, but the tub cracks and will eventually break. my tub lasted only one boat ride in 2meter seas before it was time to replace it.

the reason why i wrote the review was to try to show what most websites dont really show you: what you can fit in the bag. yeah, some of them might list measurements and so forth, but how usefull is that. im not trying to promote their gear in any way, im just trying to help any1 that has the same questions that i had when trying to shop online.
