You know me too well Spaniard! Very nice. My better half saw me checking out images of a wooden speargun on-line and wondered what it was. "A speargun" I said. "Made of wood?!". "Yes". "How stupid!" "What do you mean?" "What happens to wood when you put wood in water?!". "It's teak. Like the decks of boats." "And what happens to boats when they are wrecked?!" Anyway, I got the distinct impression she didn't think it was a such a good idea. I must admit that is my gut reaction too.

Re: Searching for a used wooden gun euro style

Hello Guys ..
thanks a lot for you advises..

Hello spaghetti thanks a lot for the links, but i can not registrate myself in that italian forum....waited for days now on an answer.. at e-bay italy mostly they dont sell guns to germany and they sell a lot of rubbish what i saw ..and they want inbetween 60!!! and 25 €
for shipping i think you have to be very very lucky .., was loocking 2 weeks.. At he sates they gennerally dont sell guns to europe because they have problems with the customs , found a good looking Riffe euro 110 there but ...no chance , the riffes in England are quiet ceap but you have to Put an original reel on it than it will cost me altogether nearly 400€ shipping encluded... ob allan Tuna seems to be an fantastic gun i like shape very much it seems to be a very strong gun .. but shipping costs are m. to high..
Arbellan is to expensive for me ..
i like also very much the meou, giman sub , guns...
dapiran seems a bit strange to me ..
i dont know if i pass italy this year , or i can go to Athens ....for Teaksea
i posed but they have also high prices maybe i can make a deal if i go personally there ...

!.by the way come back to the theme ..-- what is the best -money worth- omer gun-- how are the cayman alu or carbon , what do you think about xxv or excalibur or excalibur sport ?

2.does anybody has experience with Totemsub old handle form , not Premium
handle , what is about TS. Guzzio, Aqua ? is there any difference between new and old

Murat what´s about the photos of your guns ?

I wished i where in italy ...Best regards..

Re: Searching for a used wooden gun euro style

LAST OFFER:
new gun, 245 euro for a 100cm mahogany with reel: it's the cheapest new woody but looks beautiful, sturdy and reliable:
GALA Sub - Pesca Subacquea - Fucili Arbalete Aste e Mulinelli - Del Geometra Soliani Raschini Alessandro
BTW: Andreas, you ask about Omer guns. What about a Cobra or a Master America? They're very good and you can find a NEW Master America without exceeding your 200 euro budget (190 euro for a 100cm Master America):
omer master america

Re: Searching for a used wooden gun euro style

Concerning the durability of teak guns. - well, first - one advantage is the increased mass of teak guns - they absorb recoil and are generally good aiming platforms.
This summer I went out diving with a bunch of blue water hunters. This involves really long, rough, vomitous boat rides and all the guns were thrown in the bottom of the boat. The teak guns definitely come out of that looking better than the aluminum ones.
