Storing Rubbers

How is it best to store rubbers? Have a few sets that won't be used for a while so don't want them to perish. They are unused. How long would they store for?

Whatever you do NEVER, EVER, put them in your wallet! Oh....Wrong rubber's!

But Trompie is right on...But make sure you don't use silicone caulk though!!!

When I make my rubbers I usually make a few extras. I put them in a Ziploc freezer bag with some talcum powder and put them in the freezer.

If you are storing used bands, do not put them in the freezer. THis is because when the bands are stretched under water small amounts of water will enter the band. When placed in the freezer ice crystals will form and actually break down the rubber.

You can store used rubbers (man that sounds bad) in the fridge.
