Re: The DeeperBlue.net Gun Building Extravaganza - Gun Options 2 - Length and Bands

It’s looking good now, come on 90cms with the single band and a full-length track thing for the spear to sit in, along with one of those gadgets to keep the spear from falling of the top gun.

Oh and maybe down one side the "GITS" could emboss "Podge’s Poker" and on the other "Deeper Blue"
Exciting stuff this!!!

Imagine , a 90 cm with the same manouvrability as a AL gun, with the same power as a 110 cm, and with the same recoil capacity as 120 wooden gun

It's a good solution because it gives a longer band stretch and more "power" compared to other guns of equal overall length. But it requirers a longer loading pad, to avoid the loading become unergonomic and difficult.
A.B.Biller was the one that "inveted" reverse trigger (at least he is the one with the oldest application of such triggers), Bonfanti copied Biller, Pathos copied Biller, Pathos makes effesub guns, Omer and cressi copied Pathos

I m a bit late, hope to participate in next section, nice work!!!

Re: The DeeperBlue.net Gun Building Extravaganza - Gun Options 2 - Length and Bands

AB Biller was not the firsst as far as i am aware, i pretty sure that biller was the original imorter of Sea hornet guns from Australia using the same trigger mechanism mhe later changed it slightly but to my knowledge this was th first brand using this trigger mech which was originally designed by Wally Gibbons many moons ago cant quite remember the year but the 40's seems to ring a bell?
