packing??

ok this is the impression i have that packing is:
breath in as much as you can then take in a few gulps more air

this i believe can be used for trainign on land to stretch your diaphragm and just before you submerge.

am i correct i nwhat i have said?

Re: packing??

I think what you said is pretty close to the mark but people who practice it also use their toungue as a piston to force more air in. some use it some don,t but it can raise other issues, and would be considered i think as a fairly advanced technique when done properly. There are other stretches out there to make you diaphragm and ribcage more flexible. I don,t really pack so that is about as much as i know about it. Try the search function for threads as it has been discussed at leanght before pros and cons etc.
