I was wondering if there was any way to instantly notify people of things , such as requesting them to meet me in the chat room, without having them wait to use their control panels.
I'm not allowed to use instant messenger or most other things here at the office. Hell, I'm not really supposed to be using this forum. But some rules I need to stick to for the network's sake. In other words, is there a instant messenger built into Deeperblue? Y'all keep on rockin'.

There is no "IM" tool built into the forums. You can set your PM's to send you an email and pop-up a dialog when you enter the forums and you have a new PM - but most people have that turned off.
We are looking at implementing specific hosted chat times when people can be sure there is at least one other person around to talk to!!
