looking for opinions: evolution

i recently just got my SCR certification, and did a few trial runs with CCR on an inspiration. as a longtime scuba diver (open circuit) and instructor it was amazing to try what felt like a brand new paradigm and start over at the bottom of the learning curve.

was wondering if anybody here has tried diving with an evolution?

and what people are thinking in general about rebreathers?
