Hello. I am looking to buy a complete spearfishing equipment for canary islands where I live.
This will be my first spearfishing equipment and i am looking for tips regarding shopping list. I plan to play on a budget. I have read a lot already but as a complete newb it is very hard to make the shots.
I Live in Fuerteventura, most of the spearfishing will be done at the coast at a depth of 3-10m.
Important thing for me is I will be spearing either solo or with my GF that does not swim or dive very well so I'd love to feel safe in case she needs to help me, thus the equipment or leech should help her bring me up in case of emergency.
My current shopping list is.

1. Isnt it too long spear? I have just 175cm with shorter hands and I heard reloading can be problematic with longer spears.
2. I have a standard diving belt that isnt very comfortable, shall I really change for the rubber one?
3. I am still undicided, shall I buy belt stringer or bouy stringer...
5. Which buoy or it doesnt matter?
6. D-ring to attach me to float line
7. Shall I get shock absorber with SNAP HOOK or SPRING SWIVEL. I dont understand the difference in common daily use.
8. Cheap knife choice?
Also I am looking for a wetsuite. Likely 7mm, I was about to buy a cressi tecnica but I heard they are for more chubby people... I am 175cm and 58-60kg so I think mares sizing will suit me more.
Is sizing 2 a good choice?
Belt weights, shall I stick to standard diving ones or buy something suited more for spearfishing?
Highly welcome tips what shall I buy more or change in the shopping list. I will likely use subprof.com as they have a decent shipping fees... Scubastore for the same shopping cart charges 55euro compared to 15e... !
