Hi folks, i'm looking for some advice on the Carbon C4 729 Mustanf fins; http://www.c4carbon.com/Prodotti/729-Mustang

I am thinking of getting some of these to replace my now old, knackered omer fibreglass fins [i forget which model].
2 questions - can you tell me whether the footpockets are sized to allow for neoprene socks, or do i need to go up a size? i know there is some limited adjustment in the laces.
also, i was thinking to get the medium [30] stiffness, it will be for mainly shallow water - surface and generally 10m drops, occasionally a little more. what do you think? medium or soft?

I would be grateful for any advice from folks that have used these fins, thanks :)

I have an older pair of C4 Muastangs in a 30. They are my favorite bi-fins thus far. 30 is a good middle of the road stiffness, but if I had to do it over again I'd probably go softer- I seem to like softer fins the longer I'm at this.

As far as sizing goes, I went with my normal sized foot pockets. With the laces I can go with a 2mm sock and if I take the laces out I can easily wear a 5-6mm sock without worrying if the fins will slip off. Since I dive cold water I use the thicker socks all the time and have just taken the laces out all together.
