Hi all,
I was a competitive swimmer who now loves to dive with just my lungs!! I live New Jersey and would love to find dive buddies and search for new free diving sites! I consider my self a newbie and don't own much diving equipment other than swimming fins

Welcome to Deeperblue! Have you considered taking a freediving course? You'll probably need a little more gear, but you'd learn a lot in a short period of time. I hear really good things about them.

Yeah I've looked up a couple of places, but I haven't found a dive site close to me that I can practice, I live in Lumberton New jersey

Yeah, it seems like sites might be a bit hard to find in your area, but I don't know it all that well. Do you do any pool practice?
