Recently went for a diving trip to Munising, MI with who is now my fiancee and myself. the water was between 48 and 52 degrees above the thermocline in deeper spots in the bay. just figured i would share some pictures of this absolutely beautiful area of michigan.

Great photos--beautiful. We canoed BWWCA twice over the last decade and a half--always stop so the kids can wade, throw rocks and see Lake Surperior. Now I wanna free dive it!

it is definitely worth it most of the shipwrecks are well within range for a beginner let alone the experianced. and the rock formations are beautiful and massive. I have many more photos but could only upload 10 so i just picked a few of my favorites. It was definitely a blast and worth the trip.

Anyone looking to do some freediving back up here in the UP, there's a near perfectly in tact wreck off Grand Island, Alger Cty (seen here ) and another wreck here in Marquette, both sitting only about 15-25ft below the surface!
