Hi,

Looking for your advice! There are a lot of fiber/carbon blades in the market. I'm using Beuchat mundial competition fins and have decided that I'd like to upgrade to fiber/carbon blades. I find Beuchat foot pocket very comfortable and consider to keep it.

I spearfish (@ depth ~10m-15m) and freedive currently to ~24 meters and train to go deeper.
My height is 187 cm, weight 82 kg.

You can see my finning style here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0_KiRfsmRs

I've found on the internet that following brands compatible with Beuchat foot pocket:

Merou - http://www.merou.it/
M-Technic
Breier
Leaderfins
Deep Apnea http://www.deepapnea.com/

Please help me find best match for my needs based on your experience.
Thanks!!!

I àm interested too, as I broke a blade today :(

Brier glass in mine. Best find I ever owned. Tough blades. I dive in 7mm suit with 16-20lbs of lead to max 30 metres with no problems.
I'm 77kilos and 182cm tall.

FYI Last night, rather than delay, I opted to replace my Competition blades like-for-like albeit with the new brown Competition blades from Scubastore.com. They sell blades individually but I decided to get a pair & save my old blade as a spare.

I also ordered a new pair of black Beuchat Competition fins & a Beuchat blade fitting/fixing kit (clips, screws, etc.) from Maresshop.eu - their prices were lower but shipping more.

BTW Thanks Erik, too late for me but will look into those next time - although my last blades lasted 9 years of heavy weight, use, abuse & painting, so that might be 18 years away now!

BTW Scubaland.co.uk (France) have the fins at even lower price and they have: the blade fitting kit, spare Competition blades, the fibre fins & blades mentioned by Erik! I think they used to have lower prices for "members"/existing customers too. Lots of other fins too - some keen prices on Cressi fins.
