Woke up at 4 to meet up with Getawayfk and brought mishmish1993 (my brother) along with me. the tide was out so viz wasnt as good as last time. but the current was nil.
water was at a hot 33c and today there were no thermoclines or cold spots, so i boiled all day in my shorts and rashguard. my concern today was getting my brother to shoot some quality fish instead of smalls ones, so i wasnt as concerned with shooting. i would have to say that with my personal performance im disappointed as i pulled the trigger 6 times today and only got 3 fish. bummer  however, i must say that im really happy with my brother's performance, as he pulled in the biggest fish of the day. and beautifull 7-8 kg grouper that almost took him down. what he told me was that he was scouring the reef and was on his way up. out of nowhere this grouper opens its mouth and just sits there. mishary, given that he was out of air, heads for the surface and keeps and eye on the fish as he breathes up. he goes back down and lets the shaft fly. immeadiatly, the fish darts for its cave and he only gets a shot that doesnt completely penetrate. mishary starts to head for the surface and the fish seems to go along with him, till it changes its mind and heads back down and starts to drag him along. at this point i pull the trigger and get him in the gills, immeadly calming him down. other than that, getawayfk shot most of the fish. i got a shot off at a +15kg grouper but i was off on my aim and it went wide. the next 2 hours we worked the reef trying to find it but at no avail. oh well, something to think about for next week

That was a good dive buddy...
I will plan out more dives for the week after this week (after my exams)! Until then, Keep breath-holding !

hahaha mishary i just realized, you shot both the biggest fish of the day, and the smallest fish of the day! :P bes you were good out there
