Very interesting

Hola,
As you think, having a sled can be very interesting but also dangerous, you know all the safety issues involved in a no-limits dive. I think I can use the sled in depths that I can manage with the security I can afford, mainly to practice equalizing techniques and stretch lung. I think that was discussed previously in another thread. My advice is that you try to contact Loic Leferme or some monagese freedivers (that made a custom sled). Fred Buyle and Eric Fattah as well as Kirk Krack can give you more experienced advice

I know is very dangerous and maybe with my basic skill level impossible to reach. I´ve also read another thread discussing the same and be sure that I will forget that idea... (at the moment, of course)

Thanks for your support and knowledge freedivers!!!

Fred Buyle told me that he is designing an "airport friendly" sled that will be compact and light. He's your man I think

Thumbs up Bricomania

I don´t know the price, but now I know seeing this photos, how to make a sled... maybe is difficult to find the proper materials and since the time I will begin to make the sled to the time I will finish it, maybe I will be able to use it correctly!!!

Anyone in the forum is going to attend the Pelizzari´s course, September in Spain? I´m going to the course...

no limits=no way

just pull yourself down and up if you don't want to kick....that way you can't blame anyone else WHEN something brakes or locks up.

I'm with Pilot. Too many variables to go wrong and leave you in a place that you could'nt get to under your own power.

not that difficult...

Last Year we built up a sled, very similar to Freds sled. If you know someone who is able to deal with the steel right it is no problem. The most important part is the brake, that can be bought as a spare part from sailors.

Cheers, Carsten
