newbie here - just a quick question
I snorkel/freedive/spearfish...when I am trying to reload my speargun bands I have to put the gun handle on my chest. Lots of force and pressure and this resulted in quite a sore chest/bruises. Is there a shorty vest with a padded chest for this type of protection? I thought I saw one at a dive shop once, but I cannot remember where. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Spetton has shorty wetsuits with loading pads and xcel has surf shorty wetsuits, it does not have a loading pad but it has a rubber chest which might add some protection. Spetton-usa.com and Xcel can be found at hanapaahawaii.net
If your good at sewing you can stich a mouse pad in the inside of a lycra rash gaurd. It sounds stupid but it works. I actually sewed a mouse pad and a loading pad to help keep the gun in place while loading. |

"A MOUSE PAD" - what an awesome idea! This is what I said out loud when reading your post. Exactly what I needed. Cheap and easy - just like I like it!
Of course, I'll check the sites you mentioned, too. I guess a real pad would be more durable, but the mousepad idea is great. I have been trying to think of a material that would work and that is the best! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ! |

You may want to check out a member called Spiros he makes made to measure wetsuits and could put a pad on any suit you fancy it you ask him but the mouse mat is an old favorite with spearo's
