elios benthos

hi im thinking of purchasing an mimetic wetsuit in 5mm, elios seems to be the cheaper choice compared to polosub and marea, am i right?
as i dont know if a standard wetsuit will fit me (cannot get hold of one, here in austria), i thouht about a custom made one! is there a big price difference?
i looked at the homepage but it cofused me more than it inform me.
i thought about the liscio verde olive or the green benthos model, good choice?

i heard about the heiwa medium density neopren should be quite good.
but its expensive too??
are all the bentos models only available in smothskin?
im afraid of rippin it, nylon outer lining would be a lot more durable i guess.
also there is ecoline neopren is this also available in mimetic designs, (bentos??)

price is an issue and i somewhere read, that elios prices from 135e upwards dont want to spent more than 160-180 is this a relistic price issue?

thx for your input

I bought a elios new diamond mesh skin, tailormade for 3 month ago, and are very pleased with that one. Little more expencive.
Why dont you contact them, they are very helpful, and will give you different alternativs.
The form to fill out is difficult to find on their pages, but its on the right side of this page: http://www.eliossub.com/html/en_contatti.html.
It says "fill out this form" ...

Re: elios benthos

I have a black shadow suit - with a 6 mil benthos on order. They are excellent - contact them and tell them everything that is going into your choice. Be patient - they sometimes take a few days to reply - but they are outstanding.

Re: elios benthos

Painting is only for smoothskin out - all those quotes include fabric on the outside - which is a very good idea for durability. Compare their prices to off the shelf suits and you'll see they are quite good.

Re: elios benthos

Superstretch Dry black lining outside

Did they say what this stuff is? How does it stack up to super stretch or plain old nylon outer linings?

Re: elios benthos

I'm curious about that too. They didn't mention it to me during my recent order process - and I told them my priority is avoidng the wind wicking phenomenon.
