Spetton are based in Valencia and I have some old contacts there, if anyone continues to have problems getting hold of their gear, send me a PM and i'll speak with them direct.

Re: Spetton fishman suit

Well I got delivery of my suit Yesterday and braved the slightly rough sea today after work to try it out. Here are a few points on the suit.

1) quality is not bad, in fact if quite happy with it.
2) the suit is very warm and I can see me wearing it all thru winter
3) its not the toughest suit and so swimming over rocks would have to be done with caution
4) it comes with a patch kit

all in all I am very happy with the suit. as I am a big guy at 290lbs the size 6 5mm suit fits like a glove, very comfy 4/5 (point taken off for been a bit fragile)

Re: Spetton fishman suit

If you believe the suit to be fragile, I would like to know which suits you're comparing it too?
I've dived a 7mm Spetton Fishman, and have found it to be able to tolerate considerably more abuse than other freediving suits I've used. The neoprene is a bit stiffer, but that is the compromise for a more durable suit. I have found the Fishman to be more durable than suits I've used by Picasso, Beuchat, etc. It is not as tough as some of the scuba suits I've used, but it is far more comfortable, and is among the warmest suit I've ever used.

Re: Spetton fishman suit

It's a shame that this suit is so hard to find in the US for that price.I've been looking around and they are expensive ,specially European brands, nothing under $250,at least nothing decent. Why does it take so long for delivery?Anybody know of any store in the US that sells this type of suit?

I can only compare it to my 5mm lomo suit which is a very hard wearing suit. and as I reef dive I go thru suits very quickly.

Ive had 3 dives out of the fishman suit now and I love it. the warmth is second to none ( in my eyes anyway) , a great fit and fantastic all round suit.

I would and already have recommeded it to every1 I spear with I LOVE IT
If looked after properly I can see me getting at least 2 seasons out of it
