Re: Comfiest 5 mm suit

Hyeparis i have just had my Dessault Xtend 5.5mm suit delivered. After owning both Cressi and Omer suits i must say that the 300 euros i spent on mine is worth every euro.

The neoprene is so soft and flexible it's a joy to wear.Very comfy and fits like a glove.

Re: Comfiest 5 mm suit

I dived today and the water temp was 8 deg as reported by my D3.I cannot say just how good the Dessault Xtend is.

Re: Comfiest 5 mm suit

have you checked out the suits by Spiros in Greece. Oceanos suits are custom made and at a great price. I think my 5mm 2 piece with green abstract camo pattern was about $210 US and that was with Knee and Elbow pads and a nice chest pad. Great fit and about a 2 week turn around time from Greece to the US. Great fit.

good luck

Joel

Re: Comfiest 5 mm suit

hey hyeparis.. i've tried the beuchat green camo 3mm and brown camo 5mm and both are very nice.. the 5mm is very soft and comfortable and has a inner biotermic lining compared to the green inner open cell.. compared to the elios heiwa md and yama 45, the beuchat is almost as soft, but seems to be more durable..

but if u r goin to spend about the same amount of dough, and can wait 1-2 months, i would suggest u do the elios yama 45 custom made.. no over the counter suit can compare to custom made, unless u have the perfect proportions up and down..

Thank you for your advice. I am, of course, quite known for having the perfect proportions, but I might end up buying Buechat or Dessault - because shipping to Russia could be a problem.
