I had a battery powered undersuit for under my drysuit for diving. The batteries didn't last long so i didn't use it for the first dive. There is a connector that attaches to complete the loop so the heater starts to work so i left that disconnected so that all i needed to do was to attach that and instant warmth.
However.... My belly got wet and the two ends of the connector shorted accross my stomach and left two scars (which i still have today after a few years) much to the amusement of everyone who witnessed it, including myself strangely ![]()
