it's listed as being the omer ocean mimetic, but as far as i know,

that is the omer ocean mimetic. unless one is the newer/older version of the suit. i actually like the first suit because of the elbow to wrist and knee to ankle reinforcements. anyone able to clear this up?

It's the photopgraphy difference, .....these are the same suit. The photo with the funky mannequin is about a 2-3 year old pic, where as the photo of the model standing on the beach is from the 2008 Omer catalog. Below I lightened it up for you with photoshop .

Thanks jim for the reply. But doesn't it look like in the funny manequin picture that the knee/elbow reinforcements go all the way the ankle/wrist? I know for a fact on the omer suit that they don't. Plus the suit doesnt say omer on the side of the thigh. Could it actually be an older model?

Same "Omer Ocean Mimetic" wetsuit, slight changes from them to now. Kind of like automobile models, often virtually unchanged each year except for maybe a different looking steering wheel or slight change to the tail lights.
