I like the translucent shadow-feel and elongation of the figure, makes it look eerie - somehow it reminds me of the past, there and not there, a memory. Good composition too!

Actually, I'm not sure how Jim got so stretched out looking. I just fiddled with the color a bit to make the shot less green. The image is still pretty green though because removing too much green at this depth would make the image too dark to see.

The motion effect comes from the low shutter speed, the lighting and particles in the water. I was panning after Jim as he flew by and illuminating him with a small HID light (you can see the beam extending from the lower left corner). The part
