The colors on these pictures are awesome. I'm guessing that you're using a strobe to get such intense color underwater.

At any rate, I really enjoyed these pictures. Thanks for posting them. Wish there was a karma button here.

True, the colors are what attracted me immediatly - focus is just a wee bit off, but that's one of the hardest things when doing close ups. I assume you are taking the pics freediving?

Actually this one was on a scuba dive. It was taken at only about 18m though, so well within freediving range!

It was taken in the Portofino National Park, where there is no spearing, and so the fish are huge and totally docile.

This guy was hiding in a little cave and there was alot of silt in the water. My little digital camera had problems focussing...

I just used a regular little flash, but adjusted the blue levels in PhotoShop to bring out the colours.

Beautiful colors; nice variety of fish..keep posting more pics! What time of year was this? BTW, nice pic of you; was that a fracture/break of the C4 fin that you are holding? If so, my condolences!
