Headed out with a few buddies and ran into some nice fish. We worked 20-30fsw and vis was 20ish in some spots other top to bottom. Worked the hogs out and managed a nice red, who gave me a hell of a time pulling him out of a cave :crutch

All in all it was a nice day and had plenty of fun and a sweet fish fry to boot! :friday

 
I have read your report where you do some kayak fishing,impressive ...seen people heading out in boats and comeback empty handed...was this time also from your kayak?

Thanks! Sometimes I'm even surprised at what we run into on our kayak excursions, although this last trip was actually off a boat

.... You really learn to appreciate space with a kayak lol
 
WTG Cuchillo, nice running into you at Austins...them hogs didn't come out of that hole I suggested did they:naughty, btw that reds a toad!
 
Haha thanks! Nah; honestly I don't remember the area you suggested.... bummer lol! It was koo running into each other at Austins, I was putting some final modifications on my lil JBL :t. I might make a thread about it later, I'm very happy with the way it came out.
 
Me and mahi went out the week before and ran into some nice hogs not quantity but quality.



My hog can eat mahi's hog and thats all that matters. :t

Haha! No doubt the Rob has helped out bring more fish to the kitchen, its like night and day :friday!

... Although now my lil JBL after severe modification, out shot a Riffe Comp 1s in a pool just the other day :martial... and busted my lip at the same time, recoil :blackeye
 
Thats what I want to know!!! Very impressive. We usualy get the opposite in Miami when it comes to Hogs, quantity not quality. Thought they were all in Bimini!

Nice Bimini Hog! You really got to look for them in Miami, they are slim in between when it comes to quality and even quantity sometimes. Every now and then we get lucky
 
If you don't mind me asking these general questions, how deep were you and were you South or North of Fowey?
