Probably not for me, i've got a bit of a lurgy after the weekend and it's only going to be colder in Feb!

Cheerio,
Ben

Yep count me in

Any chance of a saturday aswell if enough people are interested? Dave? Liv?

Tim

Me too.. I don't like all this dry land business, my gills are growing over and my webbing is disappearing. I can prob make both days - will check the schedule and confirm. We're gonna need our fluffy hoods and sox for this one though...

If my dark-side persona has been retired for the winter, then I think I'll come along sans-tanks and have a play. Got lots of shiney kit that I've not had a chance to get wet yet, so this should be a good opportunity. Looking for 25m. :naughty

well in that case I will do my damndest to be there too! will be good to see you Franck (and Simon and everyone else of course!)

I'll be just back from Egypt so hopefully can make you all look pale and pasty... but then I go to Poland the next day so I'l have more than enough cold weather to make up for it...

Just so you know, I want to cap the depth at 40m for this meet as its damn cold

Let me know if you object for any reason as if so, I'll try and get some Angels in to add to the safety

Sam

It just occured to me as I was chipping ice off my car this morning, that Sunday is going to be a chilly sensation in the lake. Anyone got any good ideas for staying/ getting warm other than chips and cheese, vats of hot water to pour into gloves, socks, suit, chips and cheese. Anyone want to meet beforehand for a full english?! I know its not freediving zen common practise but it was -4degrees here last night ;0)
xxxxxx

Ice diving excellent......good job I bought a new vest just a couple of days ago.

New wetsocks also need an airing (wetting ?)

See you there.
Lammy

This time of year is traditionally about the coldest that the quarry gets. You know how cold it is when you pop through the thermocline... well expect it to be about that cold all the way down!

I'll be in my new suit and socks, so I hope their effective! Maybe I'll put my drysuit in the car too, just in case.
