Hi there,
My boyfriend and I are gong to Malta this year (late Sep to middle of Oct 2014) and would love to meet up with some local freedivers / spearfishers / general fun people to be with.
At home in Germany we freedive our local lakes around Karlsruhe pretty much all year round (as long as at least a bit of sun is out) and do some pool training.
We both have been to Malta several times now and really fell in love with this little rock! Freediving there has been great and we keep coming back. We also used to go scuba diving, but nowadays we prefer freediving and will not even bother to bring our scuba gear any more.
Even though we are an independent buddy team and by now know our way around the islands pretty well, it would be great to meet up with any of the local freedivers.
So if you are around and would like to meet up and go freediving together let us know, we are pretty much up for anything, be it recreational "reef exploring", checking out new spots, depth training with the buoy, underwater photography, eating burgers after freediving, boat dives, Gozo trips, exploring wrecks (would really love to the P31 this time) or just waving at bubblers for fun & giggles.
