Here are a couple more guns I have recently finished... well almost. Still need to add a loading pad and do some balancing and ballasting. Hope you enjoy.
First gun is the finished 57" cali special, the band pull is about the equivelant of a 120, it has 3 5/8 bands with a 5/16" threaded shaft that will have a Mori slip tip. Enclosed track with a graphite front end, kind of a hybrid track. Neptonics Tuna trigger, SS handle frame, and components.
Second gun is for my brother in law who will be using it in Guam. It is an enclosed track 120cm rear handle euro style gun. Also features the hybrid graphite front track. This gun will be powered by 2 5/8 or 3 9/16 bands with a 9/32 tahitian flopper. Neptonics reef trigger mech (had the option of the resetting line release but I decided not to use it) with a black anodized handle frame. the actual stocks for the handle will be black but I threw these on for the pictures. You can see the cuttle bone shape in the cross section in one of the pictures.
One thing I will say about the resetting line release on the Neptonics reef trigger is that you dont really have much options with the profile of your gun. I like to thin my guns out to make swinging them easier but with this trigger feature the line release sits way too far below the trigger mech forcing a taller profile. I opted for the standard release.
