Can anyone help me out? I just bought 2nd AB Biller 36 speargun and need to replace the bands. I currently use 2: 9/16" bands.

For my new gun, should I go with 5/8" or 9/16" ? This new spear has notches for 3 bands. Should I use 3?

Depends on how much power you need. 3 x 9/16 will give you more power, but it may overload the gun.
All things being equal, the 9/16 bands would give almost 200 lb of thrust. The 2 x 5/8 would give 164 lb. All this is based on 3 to 1 length when loaded.
