It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Only 16 places left (or less) wow...entries are sure coming in fast. It sure looks like its going to be a great competition.
Stavros

I'm sorry I won't be able to make it. The Greek guys put on a great competition, and I met some lovely people at the winter games. Plus my wife became an honorary WAG (wives and girlfriends) :D

Best of luck to all!

Cheers,
Ben

ps. Oh yeah i'm still raving to anyone with ears about the grilled mushrooms at the dinner afterwards!

Just a quick update - I was diving at the competition site yesterday and it was just magic.
Calm seas, visibility of around 20-25m and a surface temperature of 25-26C (It will probably be a bit warmer around competition time)
First mild thermocline at 25m (23C) a nasty one at 40m (19C) and then temp dropped gradually to 17C at 70m. All in all it will be a great place to dive in the beginning of September.
Ohh and places are really going fast I think it is down to 12 or 13 now (Panos will be updating the competition site in a couple of days)

See you there
Stavros

This is only mens results, what about women performance, who did 1 st place in constant, static and dinamic.

I was there last year and it was very nice, Loutraki is very nice place.

thank you for the info Stavros
Sorry for your BO. I hope to dive with you soon again in the Sea of no thermoclines :t ,
Pat

no thermoclines in Greece? Wow does it get lighter the deeper you go too!!??

It was a wonderful event i must say. Great organisation and beautiful waters. About the thermocline I think it is not much to whine about. Dropping from 27 to 17 at 38m is great to me!!

Just a little correction on the results Stavros put out. No BO on Milles, but an early turn at 61m (AP 65).

My blackout was mainly due to tangeling up in my lanyard. I was doing free immerson and had to pull up from -70 with mild resistance and in a strange "yoga-pose". The dive lasted over 3mins which is a little to much for me right now.

thank you again for a wonderful competition, I will try to get there again, and maybe stay longer. I hope the party was great!

Cannot exactly remember the Brits, but i think Suzanne did a 38mcwt dive OK and a 73m dynamic.

The results are up on the competition website. I hope I haven't made a serious mistake. Please let me know if you see something strange.
