Many thanks to those who voted. Its been quite a year and I think Ricky Scott needs a mention for some cracking diving for the big cod!
I certainly think spearo of the year goes to sparkly one Nick Collins:king who really is right out there relentlessly doing it for himself but bringing us all a view from over the border!
Hanging around growing the community in Portland Oceaneering days with a small group of the great Dorset buddies stirred up by Ben Thomas & Ade always sits well in the memory!
Little would I have ever comprehended that I would land a Bluefin Tuna on the slipway just across the car park when the usual was to mostly hear of Titus' exploits.
I'm pretty stoked that fish came out of Dorset as the area has given me plenty in terms of experiences on that coastline, and its been great to stay linked up with you all here on DB.
Many thanks to Apnea.co.uk over in Jersey for the prize they have put up. I bought some of my first gear from them including the current Omer fins used for the Tuna, and they rightly should continue to be supported.
Merry Christmas and have a beauty of a New Year all!

Congratulations Brett,
an astonishing fish and deserved run-away winner.
Brett there is an OMD FOY shield.
What name would you like to appear on it?
(PM me if it's rude or personal).

Well done to all who entered all year .Jonny250 was a winner if the very lucky surfnspear hadn't got that pesky tuna!!Lol .As was danas with his bass in april well I think were are all winners if we got fish this year and we have lived to tell the tale .next year we could put the top two out of each month in for FOY so many great fish didn't get a look in.
