me and 4 buddies went out to the blue water on thursday and we found a bunch of birds crashing down in 600 ft of water we investigated and found a ball of sardines getting slammed by skipjack tunas. so we geared up and got in a little way away from them.
it was a pretty amazing sight! like something off the discovery channel
we got a bunch on go pro, but it needs to be edited.
when ben gets back from the bahamas tomorrow i will do it.
i scored 3 blackfin tunas
1 barely legal dolfin
1 skipjack tuna
my largest blackfin was 21.5lbs gutted
i have never speared one before , so this was a thrill!
VERY hard to shoot those things!
some dolfin came in to investigate
i kept missing those , but my buddies got two
one of which was a decent bull at around 13lbs
video to come soon

Chris I don’t thing that even Jason would shoot Flipper:D:D
He’s talking about mahi mahi also known as Dolphin fish.

Reactions: foxfish
flipper would be too big.
we are looking for the juveniles.
we dont kill them if possible, just take the dorsal fin and let them go.
if you shoot them in the blowhole, it paralyzes them.
i make a mix out of it to clean the oven.
works great!
