3000+ members at DB

I've just noticed that DB has passed 3000 members and more are signing on every day! I'd like to give a big congratulations to Stephan and all the DB staff for making such a nice and informative site and bringing us all together. A lot of us are really having a lot of fun here and learning in the process.

I'll also like to encourage everybody to participate in Emma's incredibly difficult photo contest. The first prize is well worth it. Take advantage of Stephan's and Kirk's generosity and go for it. The PDF Performance Freediver Clinic will not only turn you into a better freediver but may save your life or the life of a buddy one day.

The beard thing is possible (I can guess them all I think) But the feed are a whole other bowl game, especialy with the painted nails.. I think I'll stand no chance.

An update to a previous thread on how quickly the community is growing:

• It took us 2.5 years to get 1000 members.
• It took a further year to get to 2000 members.
• It took 9 months to get to 3000 members.

Hmm. Seems the growth is accelerating at a geometric rate. Soon this website will have accumulated enough members to become self aware. I predict it will happen at 2:14 pm, eastern time. Is it time to pull the plug? If we fail, our only hope is that the resistance will manage to send one man back in time...

In the meantime - congrats to DB, staff, and members for creating a wonderfull community.
