Well, I'm back from another season of spearing in Panama and had lots of fun. Here's a shot of my record, a 40 lbs black grouper. A perfect (ie lucky) shot through the spinal cord right behind the head. We ate this one morning noon and night for a week. Seriously, it isn't unusual to eat fish 3 meals a day for us. Living on a boat has some advantages.

PS, I'm not really a product endorsement kinda guy, but I have to say my Mako predator pro that I bought last summer has been a great gun. I'm guessing about 120 days of diving and it's been feeding us well.
