I have CRESSI WORLD COMPETITION 5MM wetsuit. I will be in Kona next week, and I dont know water temp. I dont like being warm during diving, I am sure my 5mm will be too much. Any advice for what I should get (or do I need any wet suit at all) Suggestions for local shops at Kona will be appreciated

5mm too much for Kona

5mm does seem a bit much for hawaii, I'm going to kona in feb. for a PFI course and they require 3mm, there is a website for a spearfish/freediving shop and charter out of kona- Freediving and Spearfishing in the Pacific Islands | Blue Water Hunter/Deep Thought Wet Suits Kona, Hawaii otherwise just do a general search on kona and there are plenty of tourism sites that even include current temps. I found some good basic divesite info on shorediving.com and Let's Go Hawaii - Big Island Vacation Guide & Travel Information
