NEWS FLASH 11-09-2009;

We are sorry to announce that on 14 and 15 November 2009 there won’t be a 5th Dutch Apnea Open in Eindhoven (NL). Due to personal reasons, lack of funds, and not the least, also lack of time it will be impossible for us to organize a competition in a way we stand for as Immersion and what is expected from us an organizing team.

We are sorry for the inconvenience if cancelling the competition will interfere in your training schedules, planning, etc….

From this point we also would like to thank our crew for their enthusiasm, the one thing we did not have to worry about is a very capable (and big) crew loaded with good ideas and energy to serve/help the athletes in the best way possible. Creating an atmosphere all athletes can do what they are there for on a competition, doing 2 or 3 max performances and of course having a great weekend in Eindhoven.

We are currently searching for opportunities in 2010 to host a big international competition again but we will not announce this before we have a fixed deal with sponsors, pool, a new website, etc…..

Sportive regards,

Pim Vermeulen and Susan Kluytmans
