Hi Kars,

I am sorry, but we don´t have a list as of yet.

I´ll ask and see if I can post it here later this week.

Have fun in Hemmoor !

Holger

hi kars,
if you like to come to this competition you have to know:

the lake is beautiful. it is bright and clear like the sea...
but only 56m deep.

you can stay direct on the lake in your own tent (only 6 euro per day/tent) everthink is clean and comfortable http://www.kreideseetaucher.de/

the dynamic comp is in the lake also. there is 200m tight robe in 2m(?) depht. (you can swimm in one way, without returns!)

if you like cnf you have to know the special hemmor rules: "the lanyard must not be attached to the belly because of the counter ballast system"
in the moment we are discussing about this, but I dont believe that a start without fins is really possible. (except you can dive cnf with a lanyard on your wrist(?).

greetings wolle

Dear Wolle,

I know the lake is beautiful! That's why I'm returning to it for the third time!
15m visability in sweet fresh water is stunning, magical! And my 5mm smoothskin picasso suit serves me well countering the cold in the deep :D

56m Is what I announced, and I'll do it with my mono.
Daan is going to do the without fins thing. We will train on having a lanyard on the wrist. I know from experience that it's doable, even doing a nofins stroke. Last year in Austria I did a very easy 30m CWnf, with wrist lanyard. Roland van der Akker constructed my lanyard to be lightweight, and sliding very well.

We're planning on arriving on Monday.

The 200m dynamic uw line would also be very cool to swim along, allowing to really tune into a nice ongoing rhythm, though the full suit config would provide some additional resistance, better lube it well!

It Looks like we're camping in a tent again, better have some extra blankets with me :)

Love, peace and water!

Kars

you are one from the chosen or I`m to inexpertly ?

I have started a new poll yet:

[ame="http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthread.php?p=603473#post603473"]Is cnf with a lanyard on the wrist possible?[/ame]

greetings wolle

I just made a small post on your polling tread; in short I think the lanyard makes a lot of difference. But for certain diving without is easier!

You may try mine in Hemmoor.

hmmm, did not think about that. I am responsible for organizing Nordic Deep where we have counterballast. I think though that we will allow Lanyards at the belt. The percentage chance of a deep accident is so small! And the most important thing in case of one is to get the diver up - and even though attached in the belt - they will be pulled up in time.

Sebastian
exact this is my opinion...

I think I will cancel my plan ahead hemmor and locking forward to nordic deep...
greetings wolle

As I have understood from one of the organisers (after extensive mails) that you can also use the foot as an attachement point for the lanyard. In the beginning this was strange but after some training it works now. So I will use this in Hemmoor.

Congratulations to all the athletes!

I'm confused about the records though. When it says 'new national record', in which category? The 'normal' dynamic category must be done in a pool (25-50m long) according to the rules, so which category is this event?

Hi Eric,

according to AIDA Germany, there is a distinction between records done in a pool and those done in open water, which can be either a lake or the ocean.

So that way there are additional categories.

Hey

Congrats on the competitions and all results but what I wanted to ask is

WTF happened to the german team?

I mean German Championships and the best german results are DYN103 CW44 STA4'16''?

Is it only me thinking there is something wrong here?

No offence..
