Hi, I am in the market for 75cm euro speargun for freshwater spearing. Would like to have it setup with an open muzzle and dyneema wishbone, integrated rail would be a plus, but I suppose is not a must for a gun of this size. I've been out of the market for sometime, so not well versed on some of the newer guns out there, like some in the Mares line, or Seac Sub, or some of the new Salvimar or Pathos guns.

Some of the ones I've been looking at include the Salvimar Voodoo, which seems to have a very attractive design, however I've come across a comment about the trigger mechanism getting stuck... Another one to get good reviews seems to be the Pathos Laser open, but a bit pricey to obtain in North America. There is always Maco, and their Predator G2 looks like a great value buy, with an all stainless steel mech, and comes with a dyneema wishbone from the get-go, so that's probably the one I am swaying towards to right now. Of course there is always something like a Demka or an RA that have been well tested and proven to work great.

So what are your thoughts, and experiences with some of these newer guns? I don't necessarily need to have the newest and the trendiest, but rather something that is solid and works without a hitch with good accuracy and maneuverability.

All input would be much appreciated :)

thx
