Anyone know where I can buy 7mm wetsuit socks (as opposed to booties with rubber soles etc)? I'm off to Denmark soon and it is COLD over there. Searched everywhere and can only find 5mm, which I find a bit chilly even here in the UK in winter...

Ask elios, maybe they don`t have it on their site, but email them. I think they should be able to make one pair for You:)

Thanks guys - I've e-mailed Elios, but those Spetton socks looks good too. Apparently the water is 4 degrees c in Denmark right now - that's cold!!

This socks have a gold coating inside and nylon outside. It makes them not very warm.(I have that one at the moment)
In elios You can buy both, socks and gloves for 22euros/pair (ask them for priority mail as a shipping method and it should cost ~10 euro - that`s what i have to pay from Poland.)
open cell inside/superskin outside 5mm it makes them incredible warm. This is the warmest combination of what You can get on the market. Avoid lining and any kind of coating.
In Poland water is about 0-2 degrees and I`m buying this ones.

Biggest problem I see is the fact that your fins may not fit or at least fit so well. I had some 3 mm booties and I found my fins were okay-ish but when i went to 5mm they were over tight. i now use 4mm beuchat elastiskin and have a perfect fit. Wouldn't have thought it would have made a difference but even 1mm difference in thickness did. Shame to buy some 7mm and find your fins don't fit :rcard.

Have been thinking about that Dave. Can't swap the foot pockets on my crappy fins either, so I think I'll just put up with cold tootsies and 5mm!
