The Northface Base Camp Duffel Bag has been my go to travel bag for my scuba gear. Recently I purchased a pair of Mares Instinct Pro freediving fins for my LOB trip in Komodo this July and obviously the fins won't fit in my current luggage. Anyone here who can recommend a light but durable bag that can fit my current fins and my complete dive gear?

Rob Allen sell a range of spiffy spearfishing oriented luggage, designed with long freediving fins in mind. North Face is the brand I most associated with big, proper bags though.

Cheaper: Visit a army surplus store or go on-line. On my first trip to Yosemite I found an old English army kit bad (duffel?) to use as a haul bag, however my climbing partner found an old German kit bag which was the same length (plenty long enough for fins) but more that double the volume. BTW for climbing, we padded the insides with sleeping mats and reinforced the outside with duct tape(USA)/gaffer tape (GB); haul sacks have a hard life but ours' survived.
