A cool project on Indiegogo

I found a really cool dive gadget on Indiegogo.
It seems that the bluetooth module turns a smartphone into a dive computer, a camera, and a log book all in one. 

I was wondering how the smartphone can make depth calculations, but I found an answer: The O type module senses the depth & temperature. 

However, I'm still wondering if I should get another housing.
