If you are into prayer, here is someone who needs some.

[ame="http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?t=52413"]Please Pray for Nikki - Spearboard Spearfishing Community[/ame]

Been watching this all day, I saw a documentary last week about a pair of divers off Hawaii who were in the same situation, they were in bad shape after 26 hours in the water and there was 2 of them to give each other support. I hear that Nikki is a strong woman, I pray she is, she will have been in as I type for 26 hours on her own but where there is a will there is a way. I'm not a religious person but I hope someone is watching over her

When it rains, it pours.

I sure hope they find her, she has so many people looking out for her!

Recently a Spanish diver was lost in a smilar manner off one of the Thai islands, just dissapeared and here, close to home, someone got trapped in a cave, buddies didn't notice it until it was too late as the water was all silted up.

All these accidents renew the call for all divers to follow strictly the buddy system. Please, please, don't read this as an attempt to place blame for anything, because that is not my intention, and I must confess that I am a repeated offender as I free-dive alone many times. However, the buddy system is our best protection and we should be much more serious about practicing it.

Apparently a privately funded search plane spotted a yellow dive sausage just before dark last night and as a result the USCG have resumed a search in that area. She will have been in the water for about 63 hours now, it will be a miracle if she is still alive but they do happen. Best of luck Nikki, we're all rooting for you!

It's amazing the collaboration and solidarity shown among the Spearboard members, the donations and the huge effort underway to find her. These are people at their best and I do hope they bring her home.

Here's hoping for positive outcomes. Our thoughts are with them both.

Some Pastor! Good to hear you're praying anyway.;)

Some Pastor!
I just deliver last rights mate but that's a joke well out of place :(

Turns out they have found her gun just over 1/2 mile from where she was diving and the sausage was a lone floater. The efforts of the guys over on spearboard and planet are an inspiration; they deserve to get Nikki back but I fear the worst at this stage

No not yet, check out the link on Bill's opening post for up to date information

my best wishes and hopes that she is found, thats a big ocean out there....
