hay, when i built my float i was thinking on safety.
the soft child buggie are not enough.
they cant float me when im tierd or when i want to swim for long distances with my chest on the board.
this float is strong and have a hige bouncy.
i took an old winsurf board and cut his nose.
i built a new rounded shape with fiberglass.
now i just need to put the equipment and a flag on him.
if you would like i will take a picture when i will finish.
here some picture from what i have done till now

Good idea, do you think the float will carry your own body weight - do you intend to swim out with the board under you like a surfer or do you just want to tow it around?

I use my Mistral One Design as a base when snorkeling, I use a bag full of rocks as an anchor and the footstraps let you tie anything you want to the board. It's heavy but it will float with 3 people on it!
To move around on it I paddle with my hands or use a SUP board paddle to move about. Its great.

Put the footstraps back on your float, they are invaluable.

thanks.
i belive that it will float me even if i will sit on the middle of the board.
i dont have the straps because this board is very old.
the stuf will be tie to the deck with gum straps that i took from a truck bath cover. to those straps i will atach bike bungy net.
i atand to put my chast on the board and to paddle with my legs.
another option is to lay down on the board like a wave board and to paddle with my hands.
anyway here some more pictures
