Wow, thanks for your expertise. I know a heck of a lot more about spearguns now. I will keep it all in mind.

I know it was all slanted toward Wong guns because that's what I happen to have, but hopefully it will give you some ideas on things to think about no matter what brand you look at.

I am going nuts, the whole california coast has gone to crap:head . I went from diving every few days for the last 7 months to not diving in almost two weeks.

Tell me about it. My only consolation is that I just had shoulder surgery last Friday, so I couldn't be diving anyway. And then if that shoulder has enough function by then, we do the other one on Jan 24th. I purposely chose this time of year, and I'm just hoping I'll be able to cock a gun again by March when the white sea bass season really gets going again anyway.

I wish you a full and speedy recovery. My dive buddy just had a surgery for a torn rotator cuff. He injured it when he got distracted holding onto the anchor line in a big swell. Shoulders seem to be one of those things that just don't heal on their own real well. My dad has a screw in his and hasn't has any problems since. You at least aren't missing anything! Thanks again for the vast.

Kale
