Hi All
On this weekend past, I was enticed by emerald clear water and flat seas to do a solo freedive, :rcard , at a site off False bay, capetown called A-Frame.
Have been spending a lot of time around White Sharks recently, so I think I also needed to get into the water and clear the ghosts from my mind a bit.
Once in the water, it was the same magic, and soon, I was relaxing on the reef, taking pics of Urchins, fish, and anything of interest, when I bumped into a Scuba-diver. She was a petite lady, who gave me the initial surprised reaction to see me down there with nothing but wetsuit, mask and fins, once I had shown the camera, she relaxed, looked my way, and I took a pic before leaving and heading back for blue sky and air. On my return, they were gone, somewhere amounst the reefs and kelp forests, leaving me with a smile and a picture, attatched.
I love this sport of apnea.
Sea you again sometime mermaid.
Jeff
