AB Biller Floridian 54"

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Range is going to be around 15 feet or so (obviously depending on what you're shooting). As for the accuracy, with the slide ring setup you're going to lose some accuracy over a comparable riffe or eurostyle. The floridian setup with a thinner spear and lower profile rings is much better than a standard biller. But overall, I think there are better choices within that price range.

Both other guns you mention are better, although the build of the hammerhead leaves a lot to be desired. If you already have the biller gun, you can easily "fix" it to be better, but it will not be as good as the other mentioned guns. The fix for the biller is to shave off the top of the muzzle, insert a stainless steel line guide to wrap line over the shaft. Shave off the notch of the shaft which stops the slide ring assembly. Then put a small hole in the shaft to allow for tying line on the shaft itself. This will work really well and give you an extra half wrap of range. If you want to do away with the steel wishbones, you can dremel out the shaft notches and then polish them. For the life of me I cannot understand why ABBILLER does not see the light and do this simple yet effective modification on all their guns. At least JBL saw the light and has modified their guns accordingly.

I don't have the biller floridian. I havent decided between the the three guns. I like the Rob Allen though.

GO with RA or go for MAKO (a little cheaper but just as high quality). Definitely avoid biller, unless you're doing mainly scuba.
