I just bought two used AB Biller 48 guns. Both are in great shape and rigged with cable and removable spear tips for fishing the rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. I do have a couple of questions.

#1) How do I tell what wood they are made of? One is dark wood and one is blonde wood. ( I can post a photo or email or text it to you if a picture will help determine the wood type) ( teak / mahogany / Padauk )

#2) What was the appropriate price to pay for these guns?

#3) Under the removable spear tip base is the shaft threaded? And if so, what thread should it be?

I look forward to replies. I hope I posted this in the correct place. I am new to this site.
