To all of the abalone divers,

I am designing a specialized abalone diving glove and I could use some insight. What glove do you prefer to use when abalone diving? What are it's best features? What are its biggest weaknesses? What features would you like to see added/improved in a glove design?

Your feedback is invaluable and will have a significant impact on the final design!

Usually I have an ab iron in my hand and do not actually have special needs for an abalone glove. My main concern is that I do not want anything that would get caught on kelp. Perhaps some kind of measuring instrument or light built in would be handy. I like to get only 9 inch or above abs so maybe a sewn in measuring tape of some kind?
