Well… I have to say and share my great disappointment about the Cressi Gara Modolar carbon fins I bought beginning of october 2013. I love the stiffness of and the response of the carbon blades but the quality of the rubber of the foot pockets is incredibly low. It's just crap!
I am freedive instructor in Apnea Bali, and I dive an average time of 4 days a week.
After One month use the lateral rubber guides started to tear and after 4 month same happened to foot pockets.

Hi Delacaz,
It looks to me like the rubber is too brittle. Are you rough with your gear? Or is that just a quality control issue? That's disappointing, Cressi usually makes quality products.

Hi Jake,
Rubber is obviously too brittle. Cressi had better reputation than that. It is definitely disappointing. I'm using my gears normally and pay attention to them.
What is really disappointing is that Cressi didn't answer any of my message.

I've had a similar experience with SpecialFins. I ordered a medium blade for a buddy and they sent me fins that were way too soft to even be a "soft" stiffness. I have sent them 4 emails with no reply... I won't be a future customer. There are much better fins that I don't have to order from Europe.
